smiling_heart.jpg

if my heart had a face, it would be smiling.

Many people are sad but they smile. Why don’t we tell people? Why  do  we  keep  these  things  so  tightly  locked  up  inside of  us? This  picture  reminds  me  of  people  who  hurt  so  much inside  and  don’t  tell  people  until they  realize  that  it  is affecting  them.

About Me

I’M IN YEAR 7. I’M A GIRL,  I LIVE WITH MY MUM AND MY SISTER. MY MUM AND DAD SPLIT UP WHEN I WAS 2 YEARS OLD.

I’M ABORIGINAL BUT I’M NOT BROWN BECAUSE MY MUM IS ABORIGINAL AND MY DAD IT NOT

I LIKE ANIMALS,  MOSTLY REPTILES,

MY FAVOURITE SUBJECT AT SCHOOL IS ART, WOOD AND COOKING. MY FAVOURITE ART WORK WOULD BE WHEN I MADE A LIZARD OUT OF A SHOE.

Saying Good Bye

Develop this story by slowly revealing who is upset and why, but set the scene gradually. Who is it? Are they the only ones upset? What has happened? Can it be resolved? Is it a death – person or animal? Someone leaving? Divorce? Bullying?

Tears formed in the corner of my eyes and trickled slowly down my cheeks. My dog died and I was the only one who was badly injected with sadness. She was my best friend but the worst thing is some times I blame her death on myself. I should help her before her life ends. Her head lay gently on my lap like a soft pillow. Mum said she had to go,  I carefully rested my hand on her chest; I felt her heart slowing down like I had turned off a fan. I was so sad I just couldn’t let her go. Mum said I had to, so I built up my strength to let her go. I softly whispered in her ear and said good bye and that’s when she left me forever.

my holiday

Mum and I had to go to Melbourne to get me on a Quantas plane to fly to Brisbane to go to dads for a week. It was fun and scary on the plane but it wasn’t my first time, I have gone on a plane three times now back and forward. My dad is a chef a very hard working one too. When dad has to work I go with him sometimes, I help the waiters bring in dishes and serve out food too, its fun but it gets hard when it gets busy.

my pet-malekai

My name is Malekai and I live with Ebonie.

I am black and orange and very small.

My habits are jummping, licking peoples faces and wriggling like a worm when they hold me.

I like playing with anything that makes a noise.

But the best thing is that she loves me, feeds me, takes me for a walk and plays with me .
